Round 1 for the 2024 season was a great success with the club growing to 10 teams and adding an extra women’s and men’s team.
Across the start of the season, we have had approximately 40 new people become members or take part in our programs.
This growth has mainly come from new juniors, Deakin University students, people moving to the region or people returning to the game. We also have some dad’s playing with their son’s and some new players that have never played before.

Last week we had 3 wins, 5 losses, 1 draw and 1 bye.

The best part of the weekend was seeing so many new people in the Torquay Tornadoes uniform.

Just a reminder that we have canteen duty in juniors when we are playing on pitch 1 and seniors following the matches if you are on pitch 1.
