Welcome to the 2025 hockey season! We’re thrilled to have you as part of the Torquay Tornadoes and can’t wait for another exciting season of hockey, teamwork, and community spirit. Although this season will be shorter due to upcoming pitch construction at Stead Park, we’re committed to making it as action-packed and enjoyable as ever.

Season Details
• Season Start: Friday, 26th April 2025
• Training Start: Wednesday, 26th March 2025 (pending final confirmation)
• Juniors: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
• Seniors: 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
• Under 8s: Hoping to include this group—stay tuned for updates!

Registration Process

Before completing this form, please ensure you have registered with Hockey Victoria for the 2025 season.

✅ Step 1: Register with Hockey Victoria – This is a mandatory requirement for insurance and competition eligibility.

How to Register a Child:
• Register as yourself first, then add your child as a new member.
• If your child is already listed in Team App, select them from the list instead of adding a new member.

This form is required to finalize your club registration and provides us with essential details, including player information, emergency contacts, and any relevant medical conditions.

By submitting this form, you confirm your commitment to the club for the 2025 season and acknowledge the club’s policies, including fees, code of conduct, and communications.

Membership & Fees

Our 2025 Membership Options offer flexibility while supporting the club’s long-term sustainability.

Full Membership (Unlimited Games)

✅ Play unlimited games throughout the season
✅ Priority selection for matches
✅ Assured finals eligibility (if your team qualifies and you’ve played 5+ games)

5-Game Membership (Flexible option)

✅ Play up to 5 games
✅ Option to upgrade to Full Membership by paying the difference between the 5-Game fee and Full Membership fee

Dual Registration (Hockey Victoria + Torquay HC)

✅ Play in both Hockey Victoria competitions and Hockey Geelong competitions
✅ Assured selection in finals if you’ve played 5+ games in the Hockey Geelong season

Family Membership (For families with multiple junior players)

✅ Discounted rate for families registering two or more junior players
✅ Encourages family participation and makes hockey more affordable

Social Membership (Non-Playing Supporters)

✅ Stay involved with the club through events, newsletters, and voting rights
✅ Receive invitations to social functions, fundraising activities, and club meetings
✅ Support the club financially while staying connected

Past Player Membership (For retired players who want to stay engaged)

✅ Invitations to past player reunions and club events
✅ Receive club updates and stay connected with the hockey community
✅ Option to play in casual/veterans matches if eligible

Official’s Membership (Umpires, Coaches & Team Managers)

✅ Access to training and development opportunities
✅ Recognition as an official club contributor
✅ Support in obtaining umpiring or coaching accreditation

Payment Options & Fee Process

Registration payments can be made at the time of registering, or the club will issue an invoice with payment details and due dates.

How to Request an Invoice:

1️⃣ Step through the registration process as normal.
2️⃣ On the Order Summary page, do not click “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”.
3️⃣ This will place the order in your cart, and the club will issue an invoice.
4️⃣ The invoice can be paid via direct debit, debit card, or credit card.
5️⃣ Once paid, you can delete the item from your Team App cart.
